Procedure

Prepare phase A—Set water and a blend of glycerin and xanthan. Mix until homogenous. Heat to 80°C and add NaOH. Mix all ingredients of phase B and heat to 85°C. Add phase B to phase A. Start to cool down to 40°C. Mix well all ingredients of phase C and add to phase AB. Cool further to 30-35°C and add phase D. Check pH to 6-7.

Properties

Appearance—white lotion; pH value—6 to 7; Viscosity— ~ 16.000 mPas (20rpm/ 25°C); Stability—3x Freeze/thaw test.
